Isotopic effect of proton conductivity in barium zirconates for various hydrogen-containing atmospheres

Among various perovskite proton conducting oxides, Y-doped BaZrO3 is a promising material for electrochemical hydrogen devices due to the good chemical stability and higher conductivity at operating temperatures like 500-800 {\deg}C. For practical application of functional conductor in devices, its necessary understand isotopic effect conductivity. To barium zirconates, this study, Ar, (Ar + 4% H2), D2), H2O), D2O), O2 atmospheres were measured two different compositions: BaZr0.9Y0.1O2.95 (BZY), BaZr0.955Y0.03Co0.015O2.97 (BZYC) temperature range from 500 {\deg}C 1000 By comparing obtained results, significant difference sinterability, conductivity, was observed co-doping Co element BaZr1-xYxO3-a conductor.
